Are the vessels suitable for outdoors?
Yes, all of our vessels are fired at high temperatures, making them frost resistant. Despite this, no ceramic products should stand in damp conditions for long periods. Therefore it is important that they do not stand on wet ground (soil or grass). Instead we recommend situating your vessel on concrete or raised off the ground on bricks (or something similar) as the best defence against cracking during freezing temperatures.
Can the vessels be used as planters?
We recommend planting inside a plastic planter and then placing that inside of your vessels, as the best defence against cracking in freezing temperatures.
Are the vessels antique?
No, our vessels are not antique. They are hand made by artisans around the world, using traditional techniques of ancient ceramicists. They often have an aged finish and patina, reminiscent of antique pieces.
Where are the vessels from?
We have curated our collection from artisans throughout the world. Morocco, Turkey, Vietnam, Greece to name but a few.
