I'm truly over the moon that you're here...

I'm Natalie. I'm a British wife and mother, and I've been living in the US since 2024.

Thank you so much for discovering my collection, and for clicking to find out more about Maison Luna.

At the end of many of my videos and posts I say the words 'I hope you love it as much as I do'.

I say this often because there is such profound joy in searching the world to find these incredibly beautiful pieces, and I love sharing this passion with you.

There is a quiet, powerful connection in knowing that an object I feel so strongly about has resonated with you too. Thank you for being here with me, and for appreciating the artistry, the heritage, and the sheer beauty just as much as I do.

Inspiration

As a British creator with a deep appreciation for history and culture, I created Maison Luna to bring the beauty and artistry of ancient European ceramic craftsmanship to the US.

I grew up vacationing in coastal Spain, my family now lives in rural France, and I spent countless other summers traveling in Italy, Greece, and Turkey.

The Mediterranean aesthetic feels authentic to me and I wanted to embody that in my home.

Timeline

I got started when my family and I moved from the UK to the US and we bought our house in Connecticut. I had the dream of curating a space with layers and texture, a sense of history, and a connection to my European heritage.

Sourcing

While furnishing our new home I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So, I began the search for the pots, planters and vessels that you see here on this website now.

October 2024

Arrival

Nervous, excited, worried I had made a huge mistake! The first container doors opened and... the most beautiful pots, planters and vessels I have EVER seen were unloaded.

November 2025

Website

I started out on Facebook Marketplace and at farmers markets. The response from all of you was incredible! Behind the scenes I built this website to connect with you even further.

Curation

Occasionally I am asked how I choose the pieces you see here in my collection.

My answer is that I’m always searching for a piece that makes my heart beat faster. Pockmarks, ridges, handles, texture, patina—an echo of ancient techniques and hand-worn craftsmanship.

I’m drawn to vessels that carry a sense of age, as though they’ve spent thousands of years on this earth before reaching my hands. Treasures that feel discovered on some far-flung market stall rather than simply sourced. They’re objects that bring out a feeling!

Artisans

The artisans I collaborate with have a reverence for history. They are the custodians of techniques refined across decades of devoted practice. Their work is not rushed; it is shaped slowly, deliberately, with the kind of intimacy that only comes from a lifelong relationship with clay.

I have travelled to Europe, North Africa, and the Far East to meet with the makers whose families have been potters over many generations. When you stand in their ateliers—sunlight filtering through open shutters, shelves lined with forms in every stage of becoming—you can see how heritage and artistry continue to coexist.

Their knowledge isn’t merely taught; it is inherited, lived, and passed from one pair of hands to the next. It’s this continuity, this deep-rooted respect for tradition, that gives each new piece a timeless feel and a lived-in charm.

Finding these treasures is only half the story; the rest begins when they reach your hands.

It is a genuine privilege to play a small part in the way you curate your world, and I am endlessly grateful to be part of the magic that you create with these pieces.

Thank you for allowing me to share my discoveries with you, and for giving these stories a place to continue.

I hope you love them as much as I do...

Natalie
